Have you ever wondered how everything in nature seems to know how to live in perfect balance; when is the time to grow and how to do it? The grass, the flowers, the trees and plants live in a harmony with the elements and with each other.
Nature stands in perfect acceptance. It knows when the seasons come and go and doesn’t oppose them. The trees don’t fight the autumn, but they simply trust that letting go of the old dry leaves will enable new ones to grow at the spring season. The flowers know when their time is to bloom and show their beautiful colors and when it's time to rest. As they open one by one, they make room for the others to do the same. They are not in competition with each other because they see their own beauty and know that each are unique. The sun gives way to the moon so that it can come back again. It does not worry that its turn will never come. It simply accepts that’s just the way it works. Nature gives and receives, trusts and allows to have a sense of balance. We are part of nature and nature is part of us. If we are open, we can see that we have a lot to learn from what is happening around us.
The soil needs the rain to support and nourish the plants. Without the water, the plants will dry and will soon die. Nature understands that everything is connected and there is a time and a purpose and collaborates with that. It doesn’t try to stop the rain. It simply allows it because it knows it comes for a good reason, to supports its growth and booming.
When the ‘rain’ comes in your life, do you accept it as part of a season? Do you allow it to nourish something within yourself that perhaps you have forgotten to water for a while?
When we make peace with the rain rather than trying to stop it, we trust that the sun will reappear as it always does so our inner seeds can come out and sprout. If we ignore them, they will just remain hidden but when we shine the light of awareness and nourish them with patience and love, we support them to grow and develop into beautiful gifts.
When challenging times come our way, if we look to understand them instead of resenting them or running away from them, it can bring opportunities and possibilities for healing and expansion in our life. These are the times when we can look deeper within ourselves and see the seeds that we have planted. A time to reconnect to our inner being and remember who we truly are. If everything in our life would be perfect, we wouldn’t look for ways to heal and grow. How would you know that you can forgive, if you have never felt hurt? And how would you know what kindness is, if you haven’t experienced the opposite?
If everything in nature seems to know how to handle the seasons and be in perfect balance, why wouldn’t we? If we are faced with difficult situations, we are also given the ability and the opportunities to learn how to deal with them. If the same life force energy also flows through us, we too have this source of wisdom within ourselves. It is enough to look at our physical bodies and observe the intelligence of our own cells. This source is always present within us and we can access it at any time. Learning to collaborate with it just as nature does, we can learn to live in harmony with everything around us and within us. We can deepen our understanding of self, find our gifts and access our highest potential. Healing is a natural process and our system knows how to work with that. When there is balance, healing can take place. A broken heart mends when it is offered love because love is natural. Love is what we are at the core of our being. This is our true nature. Sometimes we just need to remember.
